نظمت وزارة الثقافة والسياحة والآثار، يوم أمس الأربعاء، جولة سياحية خاصة لوفد من وزراء السياحة العرب المشاركين في اجتماعات الدورة الـ36 للمكتب التنفيذي والدورة الـ28 للمجلس الوزاري العربي للسياحة المنعقدتين في بغداد.
ورافق وكيل الوزارة لشؤون الفنون، الأستاذ قاسم السوداني، الوفد الذي ضم رئيس المنظمة العربية للسياحة، بندر بن فهد آل فهيد، ووزيرة السياحة البحرينية، فاطمة بنت جعفر الصيرفي، ووزير السياحة الليبي، نصير الدين ميلاد محمد، في جولة شملت شارع المتنبي بأجوائه الثقافية النابضة ونشاطه التراثي المتجدد، فضلًا عن شارع السراي والمعالم التاريخية المحيطة به.
وأبدى أعضاء الوفد إعجابهم بما تزخر به بغداد من إرث حضاري حيّ يعكس عمق تاريخ العراق ودوره الثقافي العريق، مؤكدين أن هذه المواقع تشكّل عنصرًا مهمًا في تعزيز الجذب السياحي للمدينة وترسيخ حضورها على خريطة السياحة العربية.
Arab Tourism Ministers Tour Cultural Landmarks in Central Baghdad, Showcasing Iraqi Heritage Authenticity
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities organized on Wednesday a special tour for a delegation of Arab tourism ministers attending the 36th session of the Executive Bureau and the 28th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism, both convened in Baghdad.
The delegation, which included the President of the Arab Tourism Organization, Bandar bin Fahd al-Faheed, the Bahraini Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jafar al-Sayrefi, and the Libyan Minister of Tourism, Nasir al-Din Milad Muhammad, was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Arts Affairs, Qasim al-Sudani, on a tour that covered al-Mutanabbi Street with its vibrant cultural atmosphere and revived heritage activity, along with al-Saray Street and its surrounding historic sites.
Delegation members expressed admiration for Baghdad’s living civilizational legacy, which they described as reflecting Iraq’s deep historical and cultural stature. They noted that these sites constitute a vital asset for strengthening the city’s tourism appeal as a tourist destination and solidifying its presence on the Arab tourism map.
